Dr Nathan Brooks

Nathan is a Consultant Forensic Psychologist and Adjunct Senior Lecturer. Nathan has undergone specialised training pertaining to the psychological assessment of offending behaviour and has experience in both the private and public sectors, particularly working with high-risk and high-harm offenders. Nathan has experiencing working with psychopathic people in prison, the community and workplace setting. Alongside this, he has provided consultancy on security matters and a variety of threat situations and events.

 

Nathan has conducted lectures and workshops on leading matters in the field both nationally and internationally. He recently published a new book with two colleagues, titled Corporate Psychopathy: Investigating Destructive Personalities in the workplace. He is a proponent of personality assessment being integrated into work place practices and recruitment. Nathan is advocate for promoting psychology within the business sector, believing that the application of psychological principles is central to employee recruitment, the identification of internal threats, and the management of problematic individuals.
